So today I've decided to discuss the nutritional benefits for each ingredient in this recipe.

Buzz Juice Recipe

Ingredients

Oranges - organic (You can substitute for bottled orange juice if you don't have a juicer)
Carrots - organic (You can substitute for bottled carrot juice if you don't have a juicer)
Lemons - organic
Fresh organic ginger root
Fresh organic turmeric root

Directions

Depending on how you are using the fruits and veggies will determine how you combine the ingredients. If you buy bottled juice such as organic carrot juice and organic orange juice then you will combine half and half of each. Half carrot juice, and half orange juice. Next juice two organic lemons. You can use your hand or a lemon squeeze device or juicer. Next, if you are using the bottled method, simply grate a large nub of ginger and a large nub of fresh turmeric. In addition, I use the peel of the lemon to bring out the essential lemon oils in the skins. This gives the juice its tart and fresh flavor. Let it sit for at least 15 minutes. Strain for a smoother consistency and serve.

If you are using a juicer, combine all ingredients: carrots, oranges, lemons, fresh ginger root, and fresh turmeric root. Strain if your juicer leaves small amounts of pulp. This will give a smoother consistency. Add the lemon peel from the lemons to your pitcher and let stand for at least 15 minutes. The taste gets better the longer it sits.
